Ugh! Locked Out Again!

I swear/promise/declare this is the last time! I've forgotten/misplaced/lost my keys again. Of course, it happens when I'm totally/completely swamped/busy/occupied. Now I'm stuck outside/here/on the doorstep with a bunch/pile/mess of useless/worthless/insignificant things in my hands/arms/pocket. I could/should/ought to plainly call a locksmith, but I'm trying/attempting to avoid/escape/evade the cost/expense/price right now. Maybe I can sneak in/find a way/jimmy the door open.

Lost My Car Keys

Panic seized me as I frantically searched every nook and cranny of my apartment. My car keys, those little shiny tokens of freedom, were nowhere to be located. Had I misplaced them?
